Causes & Symptoms for SBL Hydrastis  Canadensis

• Hydrastis is indicated in complaints of defective assimilation, nasal catarrh, slow digestion. It increases muscular strength and powers of endurance, in chronic, incurable diseases.
• Catarrhal symptoms, which has viscid, thick, yellow mucus in long strings sometimes white that cause itching.
• Tenacious discharge from nose, eyes, ear is treated well with this homeopathic remedy. Action of this remedy is on the mucous membrane of nose, throat, stomach and vagina.
• The remedy is useful in fissures around the mouth, with white coated tongue is useful in complaints relieved with help of Hydrastis.

Mind:

• Hydrastis is useful in complaints of forgetfullness, irritability, and patient who suffer from pain.

Skin:

• Complaints with itching, redness, heat,pustular eruptions and tingling sensation which is aggravted by touch, motion is reduced with help of Hydrastis canadensis
• Hydrastis is useful in nodular eruptions mostly on back of elbows and on buttocks.
• Hydrastis give good results when skin complaints are worsened after going from cold to warm weather.

Eyes, Nose, Ear :

• Hydrastis Canadensis, is useful in discharges from eyes that burn, tears and agglutination ad sticky lids. Yellow eyes due to complaints of jaundice.
• The air feels cold in the nose, and the membrane is raw and ulcerated, Hydrastis is useful in Coryza with discharge, scanty in room and profuse in open air.
• The Eustachian tube is affected, with complaints of loss of hearing, with swollen and red ear. Tinnitus, constant noise heard in the ear is reduced with help of this Remedy.

Throat:

• Hawking of yellow tenacious mucus is reduced with help of hydrastis. Children are awakened due to the posterior nasal discharges at night.
• Rawness in the throat, felt mostly after coughing is reduced with help of Hydrastis canadensis.

Stomach:

• Weight in the stomach after eating, eructations after food that taste of what is eaten.
• Hydrastis is useful in complaints of acidity that occurs after eating bread and vegetables. Burning in the navel region with dull pain.
• It is useful to increase the appetite, improve the digestion, the body weight and helps to increase the strength.

Rectum:

• Hydrastis is useful in complaints of constipation, wherein enemas dont act and the remedy helps to excite the rectum so that stool can be passed.
• Fissure around the anus with burning, hemorrhoids that are painful is also relieved with help of this remedy.

Female complaints:

• Hydrastis is useful in complaints of white discharge, which is hot and watery.
• The remedy helps to reduce the itching due to the discharges around the vulva region.
• It is also useful in females who have enlarged axillary glands, as it helps to reduce the pains.

Generalities:

• Itching with rawness is commonly relieved with help of Hydrastis.
• The remedy helps to relieve the complaints of difficult urination and incontinence as well.

Side effects of SBL Hydrastis Canadensis:

There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given.

Dosage and rules while taking SBL Hydrastis Canadensis:

Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.

You can also medicate the globules and take 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

We recommend you to take under physicians guidance.

In newborns it is advised to take with caution.

It is advised to take Hydrastis in small doses and for a small period of time. Continuous use of the remedy may not show effective results as expected

CARCINOSINUM (A nosode from Carcinoma)

It is claimed the Carcinosin acts favorably and modifies all cases in which either a history of carcinoma can be elicited, or symptoms of the disease itself exist. (J.H. Clarke, M.D.)  Carcinosinum has a history of affecting over carcinoma of the mammary glands with great pain and induration of glands; carcinoma of uterus with the offensive discharge.

Hemorrhage and pain are greatly relieved by carcinosinum when the other symptoms agree. Carcinosinum can be considered in indigestion, accumulation of gas in stomach and bowels, rheumatism and Cancerous cachexia (weakness and wasting of the body due to severe chronic illness like cancer).
