Properties of Cineraria Maritima Eye Drops
The product is alcohol free and non irritant to the eyes. Intensifies the irrigation of the anterior ocular region; provides a better nutrition of cornea, lens and vitreous body regulating such the osmotic alimentation of those ocular components which are not directly supplied by blood vessels; bacteriostatic action.
Composition of Cineraria Maritima Eye Drops
- (10 g isotonic solution contain)
- Senecio Bicolor (Cineraria maritima ) 02 2.500g: It helps to strengthen resistance and clear away infections. Used in removing clouding of lens and also in the treatment of conjunctivitis.
- Benzelkonium chloratum Excipients 0.001 g
- Water for injection Q.S.
Dosage/Direction for use:
- Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, instill 2 drops 3 times daily into the affected eye for adults. For children half of the adult dosage to be used.
- Use the solution within one month after opening the vial.
Tips to prevent CVS:
- Keep computer screen in ideal position.
- Give a break while working for a while.
- Follow 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, focus the eyes on an object 20 feet (6 meters) away for 20 seconds.
- Or close the eyes for 20 seconds every half hour.
