Scutellaria(Mother Tincture)

Tincture is made of fresh plant.

Common Name: Mad-dog Skull-cap, Scutellaria laterifolia.

Causes & Symptoms for Scutellaria 

• For twitching of muscles, nervous weakness, weak and irregular action of the heart and
• Pain in head almost constant, sometimes frontal, a nervous sick headache, headaches of school teachers with frequent urination
• Worse by overwork or over-exertion.
• Sharp stinging pains in upper extremities.

Mind and Head 

• Feeling of confusion with pain is relieved with Scutellaria.
• Sleeplessness, night-terrors, hysteria, nervous agitation from pain or exciting emotions.
• Headache, vertigo better by eating and motion is an indication of Scutellaria.

Eyes 

• Protrusion of the eyes in the complaints.

Mouth and Throat

• Spasmodic or constrictive closing of jaws, and a tightness of the muscles of the face

Stomach and abdomen

• Colicky pain and uneasiness  is relieved with Scutellaria.

Urinary complaints
