Tincture of whole fresh plant in bloom is used to make the medicine.

Common Name:  Chickweed.

Causes & Symptoms for Stellaria Media 

• Stellaria Media is useful in enlarged, inflamed gouty fingers-joints, shifting pains.
• It is indicated in painful, aching great toes.

Mind and Head 

• Irritability with no desire to work indicates Stellaria Media.
• Pains, darting through whole head worse on right side is relieved with this remedy.

Eyes, ear, nose 

• Burning sensation of the eyes, eyeball sore to touch, eyes feel protruded.
• Dryness of nostrils is resolved with Stellaria Media.

Mouth and Throat

• Burning on lower lips, heat and dryness of mouth and throat, numbness of lower gums and tip of tongue is an indication for Stellaria Media.
