Yastimadhu churna and tablets are widely used to balance excessive gastric secretion and heal gastric and duodenal ulcers.

It also soothes uneasiness caused by Gastro-esophageal reflux disorder (GERD).

Its anti-cough property helps in treating throat irritation, coughs and respiratory disorders.

It is known to protect and stimulate the liver and the heart.

It also acts as a memory enhancer and mental rejuvenator.

Dosage Recommendation:

1-2 tablets twice daily or as directed by your physician.

The heavy dosages of mulethi can cause adverse effects in pregnancy.

Patients with high blood pressure or on hypertensive drugs

Loss of Libido

Erectile dysfunction

Kidney disease

Hypertonia

Side Effects

• High blood pressure
• Low potassium in the blood
• High sodium levels
• Bloating
• Fluid retention
• Regular intake of mulethi may result in moderate hypertension and hypertensive encephalopathy.
• However these effects are temporary and they disappear after licorice (mulethi) withdrawal within three weeks.
